Meeting Minutes
Members Present: Kurt Miericke, Greg Smith, Sue Beveridge, Lisa Finnegan, John Gallagher, Luis Rios, Ron Schroeder, Pat Stanforth, and Jim Mathews
Members Absent: None
The meeting was held at Lisa Finnegan’s house, 701 Conesus Lane. It was called to order at 7:35 PM by Kurt.
The meeting minutes from February 24th were approved.
The treasurer’s report was present by Sue. Sue and Kurt mailed a second notice for annual dues. The notice was only sent to those homeowners who haven’t paid as of yet. As of today, 163 homes have paid.
Ron gave the Beautification report. Currently, no one is spraying for bugs or fertilizing the common areas. Ron will look into this.
The deed restriction report was given by Luis. A few projects in the works but no problems to reported.
A motion was approved to form a 417 Committee. The committee will study the noise and reported fumes coming from SR 417. The CW Board of Directors will be represented by Greg. Mark Klein and George DeTellis Jr. will be the remaining members.
Jim stated that a newsletter would be mailed around Easter. A portion of the newsletter will include the budget, duties, and successes of CW HOA in order to encourage more homeowners to join.
John has a template of the advertising insert to be included in the next newsletter. It will state something to the affect of ‘your ad here’.
A motion was approved to form a CW e-mailing list. The list would include only paid members. It will be used to inform members of the latest news in a timely fashion. Hopefully, residents will be encouraged to join when they see this benefit. When used, it will use the ‘BCC’ (blind copy) feature so that only the sender’s and one dummy receivers e-mail address appear in the header. None of the member’s e-mail addresses will be traceable. If a person who receives the e-mail via the BCC feature uses reply all, only the sender and the dummy receiver addresses will receive that reply.
Kurt presented the Social Committee report. He suggested either Oct. 22nd or 29th for the Fall Fest. Trotwood Park is the preferred location.
The next meeting will be held at 7:30 PM Monday, April 25th, at Pat’s house (1770 Seneca Blvd.)
The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 PM.
Respectfully Submitted by Pat Stanforth, secretary.
