The board will announce their future meetings on the web site and on a sign posted at each entrance. James McClain will get the signs made.

Ginny Hornberger presented the treasurer's report. It was moved, seconded, and carried to approve the report as presented.

James McClain reported that the landscaping on the south entrance is in process. There is a concern about the health of some of the trees at the entrance. James will contact the Chestnut Estates Association and talk with them about the lack of upkeep on the grass etc at the south entrance. James will also call the city and ask them to improve the landscaping around several pump stations. There was a concern expressed about the delay in making available reclaimed water in our area. We continue to seek ways to make the area around the power lines on Seneca Blvd. look better. We will continue to look at the possibility of placing a fountain with a light in the pond at the north entrance.

In the area of deed restrictions there has been a complaint about the property at 1742 Seneca. A letter will be written to the homeowner. There is a interest in our Board to add to our by-laws and deed restrictions to have the committee approve the color of homes being painted. We will take this up at the next meeting.

The following were elected to one year terms:

     Gary Bennett, President
     Jim Coleman, Vice-President
     Kurt Miericke, Secretary
     Ginny Hornberger, Treasurer
     Steve Neilsen, Asst. Treasurer

Kurt Miericke reported on the situation with 417. We are in a deadlock with the DOT. it was moved, seconded, and carried to approve the landscaping that they are willing to provide. This will be done in May or June. When 417 is joined with I-4, we will inquire to have our own sound study made.

Nancy Klein will work to develop a newsletter to be out by April 15th. Each board member is urged to assist Nancy with content. There was a discussion to try and get some of the costs of the Newsletter underwritten by local businesses. The primary issue in the first newsletter will deal with membership. We will make a strong effort to get at least 250 members this year. Signs at each entrance will report on the number of members. The newsletter as well as the web-site will give information concerning paying the $50 membership dues.

Jim Coleman will work on a date for the Fall Fest.

The next meeting will be Monday, April 22, 7:30 PM at a location to be announced.

The Meeting was adjourned at 9:30 PM.

Respectfully Submitted,

Kurt Miericke, Secretary
