Board of Directors Minutes for June 10, 2002 Meeting.
The meeting was called to order at 7:40 p.m. at the home of Board member, Steve Nielsen, by President Gary Bennett. All directors were present except Kurt Miericke.
Homeowner Bill Allen was present at the meeting.
The minutes of the April 22, 2002 Board of Directors meeting were approved.
Ginny Hornberger gave the treasurer report. At time of the meeting dues to join the Association had been received from 206 homeowners. The Association's present E&O carrier was increasing its premium to the Association. Discussions were held concerning switching to another company that was offering a lower premium.
The Board approved that the President or Vice President and Treasurer or Assistant Treasurer could sign checks.
It was reported that the city had accidently killed fish in the pond located near entrance at Seneca Blvd. and Vistawilla.
It was agreed that the Association would install an irrigation system around the pond.
Discussions were held concerning finding a new pest control company.
Steve Nielsen presented a plan to use purchase orders for future association expenditures. It was agreed that purchase orders would be a good idea with the exact details of such a system being considered at future meetings.
Gary Bennett had attended a meeting of concerned citizens about the future growth of the City of Winter Springs.
It was agreed that fall fest would be held on October 26, 2002.
The next board meeting was tentatively scheduled for August 12, 2002.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:35 p.m.
