Board of Directors Meeting
January 24, 2005
Members Present: Kurt Miericke, Steve Overstreet, John Gallagher, Lisa Finnegan, Nancy KIein, Steve Nielsen
Members Absent: Ron Schroeder, Greg Smith, Jim Cowdery
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. Minutes from the 12-06-04 meeting were approved.
Rezoning Update:
Middle Schools in Seminole County are scheduled for rezoning the fall of 2005. Chelsea Woods will remain involved in the rezoning process for communicative purposes.
Beautification:
It was noted that the entrance areas into Chelsea Woods have been nicely maintained.
Deed Restrictions:
Steve Overstreet reported that most homeowner requests are related to repairs to fences that were damaged from the hurricanes of 2004. One homeowner in Chelsea Woods has requested a review of an extension that will be added to their home. A few complaints have come to Steve's attention regarding a residence that appears to have a business being run out of their home which was determined to be unfounded. A suggestion was made regarding a time allowance for maintenance to be completed now that the hurricane season has passed us by. The Board determined that communication starts with an article for the Chelsea Woods newsletter before making any personal contact.
Newsletter and Advertising:
Jim Matthews would like to send out a newsletter prior to the annual meeting to be held on February 8, 2005. The Board should contact Jim with article ideas and input.
Traffic Update:
The Winter Springs Police Department has a list of homeowners who are willing to allow the police to park their cars in their driveways for neighborhood driving safety.
Treasurers Report:
Steve reported that the CWHOA membership dues were ready to be collated and mailed. The Board spilt the tasks and prepared invoices for mailing prior to the Annual Board meeting to be held on February 8, 2005.
2005 Annual Meeting:
The 2005 CWHOA Annual meeting will be held on February 8, 2005 at 7:30 p.m.
An agenda will be distributed at the meeting regarding the goals set forth by the Board for 2005.
