Committee Selections:
The following board positions were filled as listed below.

Greg Smith, Vice President

Lisa Finnegan and Pat Stanforth, Education

In addition, the following CW residents have agreed to assist the board. Jim Matthews will continue to produce the newsletter content. Morgan Beveridge is the web master. Kelly Smallwood provides data on home sales for the newsletter.
The social committee position is being left open for now. It will be discussed at the next meeting.
Block Captains/Neighborhood Watch committee will be discussed at the next meeting. Kurt will attend the next police/citizen information meeting.
A SR 417 committee will be formed in the future. Mark Klein is interested in helping.
Newsletter Advertising:
This new committee position was created as doing the newsletter content and advertising is too large of a job for one person. John agreed to accept this position.
We hope to have advertising in the next newsletter which will be distributed in March.
The website should be updated to inform readers of the advertising and John’s contact information. Action item for John and Morgan.
The newsletter currently consists of two sheets of paper connected in the center like a magazine. The advertising will be a pull out sheet of paper inserted in the center. It may be double sided. It may be as many pages as necessary. The pages will be divided into business card size sections. The cost for one section is currently set at $35. Several adjacent sections can be purchased together to create a larger area. The cost of such ad is the $35 per section.
The newsletter will be mailed once advertising is added. Greg, Luis and Tom will look into a bulk mail permit.
Miscellaneous:
Kurt had framed certificates of appreciation for the outgoing CWHOA board members – Nancy Klein, Steve Overstreet, and Steve Nielsen.
Jim Cowdery has verbally resigned from the CWHOA board. Kurt is looking into a replacement.
The next issue of the newsletter should contain an article on what the HOA is and what it does. The budget should be included.
Another HOA membership mailing will be done before the next meeting. Only those who haven’t paid will be sent a notice. So far, only 141 homes have renewed their membership.
Steve Nielsen passed on several treasurer items to Sue and Kurt including a computer diskette with a mailing label data, past records, and the mailbox key.
Lisa gave Pat a box with past meeting minutes.
The next meeting will be held on Monday, March 14th at 7:30 PM at Lisa’s house, 701 Conesus Lane.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:30 PM.
Respectfully submitted by Pat Stanforth, secretary.
